My friends its a sad year for whanau this year and now your loss of Helen is adding to the tragedy. Mal and I send you our heartfelt sympathies and trust that the knowledge she always knew how much she was loved by you all will give you comfort you in your grief. I laugh at how she chased me off at your Dads funeral because she found Mal so like Eli (our first meeting of your amazing Mum), Take care , much love xx

TO ALL OF HELEN & MALCOLM'S WHANAU: We are sorry we will unable to be there to tautoko you all.
Helen was a very special lady and the quote I have given below sums her up fr Annette and me. Through thick and thin, she would always be there, during those Marton Athletic Days and a huge fan of all the tamariki who participated.
What a great friend and supporter she became for a lot of parents too, ourselves included and those years were "happy times" and going to the Colgate Games another event which was because of her "passion" in ensuring everyone were enjoying themselves on and off the tracks and of course the fundraisers too.
She was so proud of Malcolm and you all and the grandchildren as they arrived, We are so pleased she willbe buried with Malcolm. What a tremendous and caring couple they were and there will already be a lot of "catching up" happening we believe.
E te Whaea Helen, haere, haere, haere. Haere ki te Matua i te Rangi, haere, haere; moe mai ra e te Whaea. 'Ka pinea koe e matou ki te pine e te aroha, ki te pine e kore nei e waikura e.' (The bond created in aroha can never be severed(on this side and the next). Moe mai ra e te Whaea Helen, moe mai ra. David & Annette ([email protected])
