Ian BOLITHO Obituary

BOLITHO, Ian James:
(Retired Post Office/Telecom Engineer). On 31 July 2021 at Johnsonville, dearly loved husband for 57 years of Elaine Bolitho, loved father, father-in-law and grandfather of Sharron, Julian, Rebecca and Samuel Martel; Kaye, Brian, Jessica, Nesya and Estelle Gillies; Geoffrey, Sarah, Joshua, Emily and Hamish Bolitho, and the late Connan Bolitho. Ian, always a proud West Coaster of Cornish mining and Methodist descent, was the loved son of the late Inez and Jim Bolitho, twin brother of the Rev Ruth Caughley and brother of Cherryl Brown. Messages for the family may be left in Ian's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz. Ian's funeral will be held at Khandallah Presbyterian Church, Ganges Road, Khandallah, on Wednesday 4 August 2021 at 11.00am, followed by a private family burial at Makara Cemetery.
