23.3.1948 - 6.11.2025

On Thursday Jim passed away with family and wife Sandy of 57 years. Jim was a husband, dad, grandad and soon to be great-gran-gran. Dad to David and John. Father-in-law to Janine and Stephanie. His loved grandchildren Georgina, Michaela, Nicholas, Blake, and Simon. Brother to Lyn and Ian, and brother-in-law to Val Peet. Enjoyed earlier life Naval Reserves Wellington Coastguard. Thanks to Hutt Hospital staff for their care. No flowers, by request. Donations to Wellington Coastguard would be appreciated. All messages to the Booth Family can be sent c/- PO Box 30067, Lower Hutt. In accordance with James's, wishes a private cremation has taken place.

Jim & I remained good friends since we first met in 1977 when we both joined the Wellington division of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve HMNZS Olphert; we did many trips away at sea & on land, went on trips with our young families all around the North Island; hard to believe it was so long ago but the memories will never leave; farewell my fiend & I'll see you on the other side:
