James HENDERSON Obituary

On Friday 2nd May 2025, peacefully at Wellington Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Karen and the late Mary. Much loved father of Jason and Leaha. Stepfather of Alaster & Liz, Cherie & Glenn. Grandad to Joshua, Ethan, Emily, Hannah, Oliver, Roisin, Alannah, Liam and Jake. Loved brother and brother-in-law of David & Angel. All communications to the Henderson Family can be sent c/- PO Box 30067, Lower Hutt, or can be left on Jim's tribute page at www.tributes.co.nz A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at the Heretaunga Community Church, 51 Lane Street, Wallaceville, Upper Hutt, on Thursday 8th May 2025 at 1.00pm, thereafter interment at Akatarawa Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully on 2 May, 2025. Jim meant so much to so many, but to us, he was simply Dad and Grandad. We will never forget the love, strength, and unwavering support he gave us. Dad, may you rest in peace. We hope you're catching Mum (Mary) up on everything she has missed. Our heartfelt thanks go to the ICU staff at Wellington Hospital for their compassionate care of Dad and the support they gave us. With all our love, Leaha, Hannah and Oliver.
