RNZAF 75435 Pilot

Passed away peacefully on Friday, 7 November 2025, aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Valerie. Much loved father of Geoff and Amanda, Fiona and Phil, Gillian and Craig. Treasured Papa to Jennifer and Brendan, Jonathan and Harry, Rebecca and Evan, Claire (deceased), Nathan, Rowan, Morgan and Ethan. Great-Papa of Amelia and James. In accordance with Jim's wishes, a private cremation has been held. Messages c/- PO Box 940, Taupo 3351.

My love & deepest sympathy to you all as it was only last week i spoke with Jim & he was telling me of his new abode... Jim was one of life's "true gentlemen".
We have family contact back to Ohakea days with my parents when Jim & Val married. After reading his book i realised what a fulfilling life he had, You re left with wonderful memories.

Very sad to learn of Jims passing. I have happy memories of him flying the 737 into Rarotonga and his time with Air Rarotonga. A fine gentleman passed. Condolences to all family.
