Jane HOWLEY Obituary
On 7 February 2026 peacefully at home. Beloved wife of Michael; loving mother of Joseph, Patrick and Dominic; and grandmother of Finley, Harry and Heidi. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mary Potter Hospice appreciated. Jane's funeral will be held in the Roman Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Hill Street, Wellington, on Thursday 12 February at 2.00pm and thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery. A vigil service will take place in the above Cathedral on Wednesday 11 February at 7.00pm

Dear Michael & family - Gwenda and I send our heartfelt love and condolences on Jane's passing. Heather was able to share the link to the service with us and we were moved by the eulogies and I especially by the memory of Jane's many kindnesses, especially to me in my difficult youth, when you were both a strong older sister and brother to me. We have passed on the news to Ed Gorman and also shared the link with him. May the Holy Spirit comfort you and the boys in this time of grief. With warmest affection, John & Gwenda
