Of Paraparaumu. Died on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Coastal Villas - Metlifecare, Paraparaumu, aged 93 years. Loved wife for 66 years to Graeme. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Judi and Rob, Mike and Tina, and Tim. Loved Grandma of Drew, Grace, Declan, Olive, and Louis, and Great-Grandma of Eli, Isla, Finley, Mack, Austin, Tyler, and Amity. A service to celebrate Jan's life will be held in Kapiti Coast Funeral Home, 9-11 Hinemoa Street Paraparaumu, on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. We are thinking of you all at this sad time.
Our father, Hugh, was a cousin of Jan's on the Johnstone side. Our family was close to the Barnes family when we were young, and we knew Jan and Graeme and Jan's sisters well. They were such a warm and lovely family.
Jan was a gracious and loving woman with a beautiful smile.
