Jean SAYERS Obituary

Unexpected but peacefully, with her daughters by her side, at Hutt Hospital on Saturday, 20th September 2025; aged 77. Much loved mum of Claire and Melanie, and dog mum to Shelby; loved mother-in-law to Fraser; loved sister to Kathy, and loved Aunty to Jackie and Sharon. As per Jean's wishes, a private cremation has been held.

So shocked to hear this news - I would often see your mum walking Shelby along stopbank in morning - I would go passed in van and beep my
horn - we would catch up at fig tree every now and then - such a great lady to talk to and was such an awesome neighbour to my Aunty Val

I am very sorry to learn of Jean's passing. She was always so friendly and happy to chat when walking Shelby regularly. She will be missed as a neighbour and I will miss stopping to chat to both her and Shelby.
Rest in peace Jean.
