Jeevaranee SIVALINGAM Obituary

Passed away peacefully on 4 January 2026 at the Cook Street Nursing Care Centre in Palmerston North, aged 88.
Jeeva was originally from Trincomalee in Sri Lanka, and was wife to the late Visvanather Sivalingam; mother to Sivajinie (and Rangi) and Geedha (and David); Ammama to Sophia, Arianah, CJ and Josh (and Kirsty); and great-grandmother to George, Rosemary, Jack and Hilary. Our thanks go to the Cook Street staff, Lavender Blue, Hokowhitu Village Medical Centre and the STAR Ward 2 team at Palmerston North Hospital for their wonderful care. I did not realise that Siva had passed away, I first met him in February 1993 when I joined Lodge Awatea Masonic Lodge.
