Jennifer CORDER Obituary

Jenny Corder passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday 28th January 2026 at Liston Heights Care Home, Taupo, aged 84 years. Loved wife of John, cherished mother and mother-in-law to Belinda & Barry Corder-Clinton (Auckland), Jo & Paul McIver (Auckland), and proud Grandma to her 5 grandchildren, Emma, Edward, Walter Kruger & Max and Olive McIver. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. In keeping with Jenny's wishes, a family service to celebrate Jenny's life will be held.

I´m so sorry for your loss. Jenny was such a kind and caring person, and I have such lovely memories of time spent in Taupo and Ngaio when we were younger. I´ll never forget how she looked after me during that truly disastrous food-poisoning episode - she did it in a way that gave me dignity and made me feel completely comfortable. It meant so much to me, and it spoke so clearly to the sort of thoughtful person she was. Thinking of you all and sending you all my love.

Jenny was a wonderful friend and cousin of our late Mum and was always there for our family. She will be remembered by all of us as a kind, warm and thoughtful person who always had time for a friend.

Those we love don't go away,
They sit quietly beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
