Joan passed away peacefully in Lower Hutt on 20 April 2025, aged 96 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Michele & the late Graeme Lythgoe and Gillian & Stewart Atkinson. Loving Nana of Stephanie, Oliver, Jeremy and Chris and loving Great Nana of Finley, Sophie, Zac and Zara. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Hutt Hospital and Shona McFarlane Retirement Village. A private cremation has been held in accordance with Joan's wishes.
