THORNTON, Jocelyn Mary:
Formerly of Paekakariki. Died Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Saturday 20 May 2017. Aged 85 years. Much loved wife of Ron. Sadly missed by her daughters, Jennifer, and Claire & Mark, and son, John & Daniela, and the late Paul. Loved Grandma of Aidan, Kersty, and Maia. Loved sister of Jean, and Barbara. Many thanks to the Parkwood nurses and staff for the loving care given to Jocelyn. A Quaker service for Jocelyn will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel, 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu on Tuesday 23 May 2017 at 11.00am, to be followed by a natural burial in Otaki. In lieu of flowers and in recognition of Jocelyn's deep love of trees and birds, donations to the NZ Forest and Bird Society would be appreciated.
