John William ANSCOMBE

Passed away peacefully at Waikanae, on Saturday 20th April 2025, aged 86. Dearly loved husband of Denise, loved brother of Vivienne and Beverley. Loved father of Michael, Russell and Rachel. Granddad to Bronte, Clara, Louise, Nathaniel and Trinity. Father-in-law of Yvette, Emma, Darren (no pressure) and the late Matt. Brother-in-law to Heather and Ross. Fly fisherman and book collector, born in Pahiatua and worked for the Bank of New South Wales/Westpac for many years. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Charles Fleming special care unit, with special thanks to Joanne who treated John as she would a family member. Particular acknowledgement of Dr Kolitha De Silva who was a doctor and friend to John over many years.
