So sorry to hear of your passing John; we were so glad to have reconnected at the Rochester Hall mid 70s reunion a couple of years ago. May your family and friends be consoled in the knowledge that you were a great guy and good friend even though our contact was not regular. Christina Reymer and Rob Powell, Hamilton NZ

My condolences to the Dalgety whanau. I worked with John in a number of General Elections - he was a fantastic logistics & supplies manager for our electorate and I learned a lot from him.

Phyllis and I worked with John administering quite a few elections. He was always a commited, honest and had-working official and I am proud to have been his friend.
