Dorothy and John Wood
Yesterday
When we moved into Duncans Way 13 years ago,John welcomed us with a bowl of tomatoes he had grown in his glasshouse.
He was a wonderful Otaki Beach historian and we loved hearing him talk about the development of the street.
John was a true gentleman.
Duncans Way will not be the same without him.
He will be deeply missed.

Farewell John.
You were fondly known as Pop. Evie and I along with our two boys Cory and Reid really enjoyed those few years we spent in Otaki after the passing of June. Sharing great moments with you in the garden and morning teas around the table having a laugh.
Thanks for the wonderful memories. RIP
