Dr. John Rex MONIGATTI

Passed away peacefully at home on 23 September 2024, surrounded by family. A deeply dedicated and much-loved husband, dad, granddad and brother; he will be dearly missed by wife Leslie, children Emma, Jason and Richard, and grandchildren Amelia, Grace and Hugo. John lived a life of service, devotion and adventure, touching many lives and leaving a bright legacy. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 20 Church Street, Devonport, Auckland, on Tuesday 1 October 2024 at 2.00pm, with viewing available from 1.15pm. All are welcome. The service will be livestreamed (contact Forrest Funeral Services, Browns Bay for access) and followed by light refreshments. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ.
