Miss Macfarlane! I will cherish and always remember you as my teacher when I was five.. we had some humorous moments together.

You always made sure that I was included in everything despite my disability and made sure students had awareness then and throughout my primary years. I´m glad we got to reconnect in later years when I became a teacher aide and you a singing teacher back at Raumati South School.

Much love from my Whanau and I.

My condolences to Judith's family. So sad to hear of her passing. I taught with Judith at Raumati South School many years ago. I will aways be grateful she took me under her wing when I first returned to teaching, after having my children. Such a dedicated teacher and talented lady. May she rest in peace.

I taught with Judith at Raumati South School in the 1990s.

She was a supportive colleague and a dedicated teacher focused on children´s needs, their learning, and their success.

Judith enthusiastically got involved with shows, musical events, school galas (toffee apples), book weeks, celebrations, etc.

I expected her to be around for a very long time and feel sad that I didn´t get a chance to say goodbye.

Condolences to Judith´s loved ones.

Rest in peace Judith. You´ve earnt it.

Judith was an important part of my growing up on Korokoro, as was her mum who taught me in my 'primmer' years. Judith was a dedicated and loving teacher who made an impact on many young lives. Graham, trust that she will be always with you in spirit and be comforted.

Miss Macfarlane was my new entrant teacher at Raumati South School in 1985.
I have many memories of Miss Macfarlane throughout my time at primary school. Goodness knows why her spelling tins are so clear in my mind but they are. Her strong singing voice. Her no frills, get it done approach. Her softness and kindness that shone through when you were having a `moment´. Fast forward to the late 90´s and our paths crossed again but this time at Coasters Musical Theatre. Is grown up, and Miss Macfarlane became known to me as Judith. She utterly astounded me with her recollection of me and my time at primary school. She had a fair few stories to share. Judith took the time to know you. She was a strong, knowledgeable woman who I had the upmost of respect for. I´m sad I didn´t get to say goodbye Judith. You will be remembered fondly and may you Rest In Peace. Much love to your friends and family.
