Of the Kapiti Coast. Peacefully at Arohanui Hospice on Monday, 1 December 2025. Aged 69 years. Dearly loved mum of Claire & Turei. Loved Grandma of Freyja and Raena. Loved sister of Claire, Adrian, Felix and Justene. Heartfelt thanks to all her caregivers and Arohanui Hospice for their love and care. A service to celebrate Karina's life will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel, 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu on Friday, 5 December 2025 at 11.00am, to be followed by burial at the Otaki Natural Burial Cemetery.

I only knew you for a short time but you were a great neighbour and a wonderful friend. I´ll miss our chats and will always wonder what more we´d have discussed. I love that you tried to impart as much advice as you could, especially when you knew your time was limited. For that, I thank you. I will miss reading your writing you sent me. I´m sorry you didn´t get to do everything you wanted to do, it´s so unfair. I´m glad you´re no longer in pain. All my love xx
