Sister Kathleen died peacefully at Nazareth House on Thursday, August 28, 2025, in the 63rd year of her Religious Profession, aged 84 years. Loved and respected member of the Little Company of Mary, loved daughter of the late Will and Winifred Kilpatrick, loved sister of Colleen Palmer, the late Brian and Syliva, loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Gratitude to the Nazareth Sisters, their carers Shona Lowsen and Geraldine Chunn for their care of Kathleen. Requiem Mass for Sr Kathleen will be celebrated at Nazareth House Chapel on Friday, September 5 at 1.30pm. Private cremation to follow. So sorry to hear of the passing of Sister Kilpatrick. I knew Sister Kilpatrick through Avon, I used to deliver her catalogues and her orders when she lived in Newtown and Island Bay in Wellington, she was such a lovely, caring lady, I was so sad when she moved to Christchurch because she became like a third Grandma. She will forever be in my heart.
