I met Llew while walking the Invierno, and though I only knew him for six days, he changed my life forever.
Llew had a rare gift for making people feel truly seen and deeply loved. Whether it was through his quick wit that kept everyone laughing, his wisdom about life and the Camino, or simply the way he made you feel included. Llew led with kindness and radiated a light that made others feel brighter, too.
He spoke with such warmth about his family, especially his children and grandchildren, whom you could tell by the stories he told, he adored beyond measure. He made me laugh harder than I had in years and helped heal a broken part of me. He called me Skippy and I´ll carry his spirit with me always. I miss him deeply and I will continue to miss him for a long, long time.
Llew, I hope you´re living it up with slabs of steak, muchos cervezas, and lots and lots of laughter. May your light guide many peregrinos to come

So sad to hear of Llews passing, glad that he was doing something he loved. A really good man.

Llew will be missed by his many friends in NZ. He was part of a group of golfers fron Paraparaumu who travelled around NZ and Australia for over 35 years. We all gathered earlier this year when he made a visit and we are devastated that it will not happen again. We will get together and share our memories and will have some laughs no doubt but it will be with heavy hearts.

Llew played cricket for many a year for Paraparaumu Cricket Club. He enjoyed the camaraderie of these weekly summer occasions. Always had a smile on his face, a great person to have on your team
