Died Thursday, June 26, 2025, in her 99th year. Born in New York City, she was for more than 30 years a proud New Zealand citizen. She loved and admired her late husband, Donald, their valiant daughter, Julie, and the best-ever son-in-law, Don Hollander. She was Nana to Max and Sandya, Nicholas and Cody, Sarah and Ash, and Anna and Andrew, and great-grandnana to Archie and Seb. Farewell to my fellow memoirists, Constance Dreaver and Miriam Vosburt, Anne Lees, carer and friend, and to the staff of Rita Angus Retirement village and Ashley and Jacinda who kept us safe in perilous times. And lastly to Alice Grau, my friend since our school days a very long time ago.
