Margaret Jean "Marg" GILLALY

Our most beautiful, bold, bright Marg died last Sunday. Daughter of Alison and Tom Gillaly, Marg was born on December 4, 1957 and died on September 28, 2025. Beloved sister of Peter, Judith and Steve (twin), and all of their whānau. Loved partner of Sandy/Sandra McCallum for 32 years, loved by Andy & Eva Reid and Tony & Selena Reid, adored Grand Marg of Kea, Lilly, Spencer and Leo Reid, and loving sister-in-law of Glenda McCallum and Ron Beernink. Marg was loved and admired by her many friends and colleagues. During her 47 year teaching career, Marg touched the lives of so many tamariki and their whānau. A celebration of Marg's life will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 1.00pm, at The Pines, 50 The Esplanade, Houghton Bay. A shuttle service will run from Princess Bay carpark from 12.15pm. Please wear bright clothes - Marg would expect nothing less. Until then Marg is at home with her whānau. Visitors are welcome.
