Margaret LORIMER Obituary

Passed peacefully, surrounded by family on Saturday 6th December 2025. Dearly loved Wife of Lindsay (dec) and cherished Mum of Sandra and Nigel, Joanne, Philippa and Chris. Adored Nan to Tiaki and Courtney, Jessica, Laurence and Kaitlin, Georgia and Grace and loving Great Nan to Tiaki, Amaia, Taika, Jackson and Ryker. A private cremation is planned with immediate family. We would like to invite extended family and friends to a remembrance afternoon tea to celebrate the memories, laughter and love we shared with mum on Thursday 11th December 2025. Please contact the family for further information. We would like to acknowledge and thank family, friends and the team at Te Omanga Hospice for their loving care and support.

With sympathy & love to Sandra, Joanne, Philippa and your families on Margaret´s death. May you know the love of family & friends at this time and in future days also. I remember Margaret´s welcoming nature when we first came to the Island Bay Presbyterian Church & later when I needed help with Junior Girls´ Brigade. Nothing was a bother to her.
