Maria ANGHEL Obituary
Maria, born in Romania on 14 August 1931, passed away peacefully on Sunday 25 August 2024, aged 93 years, on the Gold Coast Australia, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of the late Steve Anghel. Loving mother of Constantin and Zoe. Cherished grandmother of Zack and Dylan. Special thanks to mum's faithful loving carer Warren of 17 years who was with mum till the end. Her funeral service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church of St Anna, 31A Crombie Avenue, Bundall, Gold Coast. After which her wake will be held at the family home, 10 Yunga Court, Broadbeach Waters, Qld 4218, Australia.

Just sitting here thinking about old friends and your name popped up. So sorry to hear about your mother. I remember how generous and welcoming she was when we stayed with them in Taupo.
