We are so saddened to learn of the loss of Aunty Mary. We never had the privilege of meeting, but got to know a little of her from the letters we exchanged at Christmas. It was clear to see that family was first and foremost in her life. She was proud still to be driving and knitting in her 90s and delighted to tell us she had 18 great grandchildren. She said she was `pretty spoilt´. It´s been a joy to have got to know her from her Christmas letters, where we both wished we could have met. Fortunately our younger daughter did, and told us all about Len and Mary, their family, and their indoor and outdoor cats! A wonderful lady, whose letters we treasure. Our heartfelt condolences to her family. God bless.

Thinking of Mary's family at this time. We have fond memories of both your Mum and Dad at FMG functions. Since our move to Paraparaumu I have often met Mary at Embroidery Guild Workdays. A fine needlewoman. Sincerely Janice and Bob Strong.

Saddened to read of the passing of Mrs Burton. Wonderful neighbours of ours for so many years. Our Girls grew up with many of the Burton Children and they often recall those Days. Condolences to all the Family.
