Born 14 October 1929 (Yorkshire, UK) Passed away 29 April 2017 (Wellington, NZ). Of Churton Park and formerly of Paraparaumu, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Fred. Beloved Mother and Mother-In-Law to Peter, Janet and Brent. Cherished Grandmother to David and Anita, Daryl and Lisa, Ben and Jacquie, Sarah and Biken. Great-Grandmother to Dylan, Oliver, Elijah and Jack. Friend to Paula. A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Mavis will be held at the Awa Tapu Crematorium Chapel, 131 Valley Road, Paraparaumu, on Thursday 4 May 2017, commencing at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages for the "Newman Family" can be sent c/- PO Box 50 347, Porirua 5240.
