Michael BRIEN Obituary
On May 24, 2025, peacefully at Wairarapa Hospital, with his granddaughters by his side, aged 80 years. Very much loved and devoted husband of Irene for 58 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Lisa and Mark, John and Cherie, Stephen and Ingrid. Adored by all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a friend to many. Many thanks to all medical professionals who have cared for Mick over recent years, your kindness has been much appreciated. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Mick Brien, c/- PO Box 460, Masterton. An informal Celebration of Life will be held in the Copthorne Hotel, High Street, Solway, Masterton, on June 21 at 2.00pm. In accordance with Mick's wishes, a private cremation has been held, he just wants a final party.
