Nanette LEVETT Obituary

Very dear Mum of Mark, Jen and Jose, loved wife of Derek, and much-loved Nan to Ruby, Albert, Florence, Henry, Charlie and Sadie. Adored Mother-in-law of Stevie and Robbie. Our dear Nan passed peacefully on Wednesday 14th May 2025, with Jen and Jose there either side. We are delighted her last Sunday outing was Mother's Day, with the finery that Nan's special celebrations always involved. The kindness and friendship of the Te Hopai family is so valued. A service is to be held at St Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church, Rangihiroa Street, Waikanae Beach, on Tuesday 20th May 2025 at 11.00am, followed by morning tea.

On behalf of the Lower Hutt Miniature Makers Club, we extend our deepest sympathies to Nanette's family on her recent passing. Nanette was a very talented member of the club, and her exhibition currently being held at Petone Settlers Museum is a testament to this. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Very sad to hear of Nanette´s passing. I still remember her warmth and kindness from our teenage years in the 80´s, she always made me feel so welcome at Richmond Ave. She also introduced me to the world of miniatures. I have very fond memories of Jo and I accompanying her on Saturday afternoons to the Lower Hutt miniature club. She was a very talented miniature creator and I was captivated by her exhibition that I saw in January. She left a beautiful legacy.
