Nigel WHITE Obituary

Of Otaihanga, on 8th October 2024, aged 56. Surrounded by family and friends and beat the odds until the end – "I find life too interesting to give up". Dearly loved husband of Lisa, cherished son of Faye & Ian; and big brother to Chris and Bevan. Will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Messages to 'the White family' may be posted C/- PO Box 723, Paraparaumu or left on Nigel's tribute page at www.tributes.co.nz. A livestream link will also be available on the tributes page. In accordance with Nigel's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Nigel's life will be held at Harbour City Funeral Home, 300 Kapiti Road, Paraparaumu, on Monday 14th October at 2.00pm.

Nigel was the ultimate fighter. I think any normal person would have given up years ago but Nigel alway put on a brave face and was the ultimate host even when we showed up from Europe with three small kids. Everyone in the family remembers rafting down the river with Nigel and I´m sure none of us understood at the time just how tough it was for him to keep a brave and kind face.
Rest in peace Nigel and all of us here in Europe will never forget you.

Nigel loved life and has fought for so long
We grew up together in Kara and spent many a time at each others place playing as boys. We both went to Kokopu School and Whangarei boys high school together.
Will miss the humour you always brought to life.
