Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle on 13 March 2026. Loved wife and soulmate of John for 57 years. Beautiful mother of Rochelle, and the late Jamie. Loved Nana of Renee, Jamie, and Kahlia. A service to celebrate Olive's life will be held in the Cleveland Chapel, 179 Ingestre Street, Whanganui, on Thursday 19 March 2026, at 11.00am, and will be live-streamed at www.clevelandfunerals.co.nz.

Dear John, Rochelle, Renee, Scott and family,

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dear mum, Olive. My heart goes out to you all at this sad time.

I have such fond memories of her kindness growing up. I still remember how she would make those quick strawberry milk drinks for you all before school, and how she always made me feel so welcome in your home.

Thinking of you all and sending love and comfort as you remember such a special mum.

So sorry to hear of Olives passing. We worked at Jewel products together back in the 60s and met up again in Lower Hutt years later so sorry for your loss Sarg
