Parekura passed away peacefully on Friday 16th May 2025 at Brittany House in Hastings. Devoted wife of Dave for over 70 years. Loved sister of Te Mahinganui Hook, Anges Tonks, Paretoka Nepia, Beau Hughes, Te Pikonga Lawton, Te Kahu Hughes, Miroi MacGregor, Rahu Royal and Buck Gotty. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Ricky & Paula, Robyn & Stephen, William, Catherine & Peter, Eddie & Vicki, Hogie & Linda. Cherished Nan to her 12 grandchildren and treasured NaniNani to her 19 great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Parekura will be held at 11.00am on Tuesday 20th May 2025, at Ngatokowaru Marae, Hokio in Levin, followed by burial at Raumatangi Urupa.
