Paulene CROOK Obituary

Peacefully at Wellington Hospital on 11 July 2025 after a short illness, aged 56 years. Adored mum and mum-in-law of Elizabeth & Chris, Samuel & Julia, and Reuben. Awesome and most fun Mamie to Louis and Emily. Loved partner of Bill Penn and respected ex-wife of the late Bill Crook. Special eldest daughter of Lynda & Mark (dec). Granddaughter to Nola. Incredible big sis and sis-in-law to Catherine, Tina & Matt, Leonie, Anna, and Thomas & Victoria. Most fun aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Esteemed colleague and friend to many. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated, and please consider becoming a blood donor. A service to commemorate Paulene's life will be held on her birthday, Friday 18 July at 1.00pm at Silverstream Retreat, 4 Reynolds Bach Dr, Stokes Valley, followed by private cremation. Special thanks to staff at Hutt and Wellington Hospitals, especially in ICU and Paulene's "Wellness Consultant", Jonathan. What a wonderful mum we were so lucky to have. Our lives will never be the same without you.
