Thankyou Peter for being a great boss and supportive friend. I remember travelling home on the train to Linden with Peter. He would fall asleep and usually wake just in time to get off, but sometimes I panicked and had to wake him up as he was not stirring.

Our heartfelt condolences to Lesley & family as you face the loss of Peter, a most precious husband, father, grandfather great grandfather & brother. Your family warmly welcomed us when we moved to Tawa in 1968. Took us on picnics, welcomed us to meals as
newcomers to St Christopher's
& encouraged our son Jeremy's interest in family legacy. May you all know comfort in coming days.

The membership of the Canterbury Genealogy Society (formerly known as New Zealand Society of Genealogists - Canterbury Branch), (Family History) wish to express sincere sympathy and condolences on the loss of Peter, to all his family and friends. Peter and Lesley have been cherished members of our group since their move from the North Island and Porirua genealogy group, three and a half years ago. Peter was a real gentleman and a lovely gentle man. We have so enjoyed having Lesley and Peter at so many of our meetings and joining in with "our family of genealogists".
