Peter MAIRS Obituary
Assistant Commissioner of Police (retired) and proud recipient of O.B.E award. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 22nd May 2022. Peter was the beloved husband of (the late) Lollah. Dearly loved Dad of Karen and Steve; and father-in-law of Sarah. Adored Pop of Samuel and Tessa, Jessica, Olivia and Christopher. Treasured brother to Janice, Tony, (the late) Allan, Rose, and Pearl. We will be holding a private family service to celebrate Peter's life. Dad/Pop, thank you for your endless love, care, and support. We will forever treasure our time with you and hold you closely in our hearts. As A.A. Milne once said,
"How lucky we are to have had something that makes saying goodbye so hard".

Sorry to hear of Peter´s passing.
I met Peter when he was Assistant Commissoner of Police. He became a Trustee of Life Flight Trust and our first General Manager on hi retirement. Peter set Life Flight on a true course that sees its success today with many people owing there well being to Life Flight.
RIP Peter.
