On 6 June 2025, aged 65 years. Loved spouse of Amanda. Adored dad of Julie, Maggie, Mary and Peter. Grandad of 8. A celebration of Peter's life will be held in Cornwall Manor, corner of Knights Road and Cornwall Street, on Thursday 12 June 2025 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation at Akatarawa Crematorium. All messages to "the Montgomery family", C/- PO Box 30 127, Lower Hutt.

I was Peter's Friend and next door neighbour through the 60s and 70s and shared countless adventures with him growing up and also shared a life long love of motorbikes. He was an exceptional guy and when my Dad passed away in the late 80s he was incredibly kind to my Mum.
