Rayleen was an absolute life saver to me and my clunkiness countless times while working together. Always efficient and a total softie with my children. They loved to stop and chat to Rayleen in her garden when we were passing by. They were always warmly welcomed-even when they were on ponies! Rayleen you will always be warmly remembered and missed!

I first met Rayleen when we worked together at Tairangi and later at Rangikura School. She became part of my journey in teaching and in life. After she retired, we would still catch up by going for walks together-though I must admit I could never quite keep up with her.

Over the years we would message each other from time to time, keeping that connection alive. I will always be grateful for the connection we shared.

Go well, my friend. Thank you for being part of my journey.
