Rex COUPE Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 24 December, aged 83 years. Much loved husband of the late Dorothy. Father and father-in-law of Tony & Anna, Garry, David & Susan, and Chantelle & John. Grandfather and Great-grandfather of Bailey, Alex, Danielle, Tash, Josh, Ayla, Matthew, Alyssa, Elsie, Mila, Frankie, Jett, and Koda. A private cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I worked @ Housing NZ alongside Rex ,he was a building advisor etc who made any inspection or job on a whole lot funnier and better .He had a wicked sense of humour and it was usually always a pleasure to work alongside him .RIP REX

I met Rex when he was assistant manger at the old Barretts Hotel by Plimmer Steps. I saw him marry Di and welcome the beautiful Chantelle and then his grandkids. RiP Rex xx

My condolences on the passing of Rex. He is now with his beloved Dot. Used to visit them both in Carterton. Have known Dot since her children were at Kindy. Visited Rex when he lived in Gibbons Street, Upper Hutt.
