Hello Sunethra and family

My sympathies to you all on Rex's death.....I remember him to be a very kind man with a very sharp sense of humour. I am sure he will be missed and please remember how highly my parents, Arthur and Sheila Bignell thought of Rex as a doctor and a personal friend.

Anyone who could convince my father to give up smoking had to be a special person!

Please accept my apologies as I will not be able to attend Rex's funeral on Wednesday, I will be flying to Christchurch that morning and unfortunately I cannot change those arrangements.

Know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Kind regards
George
