Richard CORBETT Obituary

On Thursday 11 September 2025, peacefully at Wellington Hospital after a long illness. Aged 80 years. Dearly loved and lovng husband of Lyn. Loved son and son-in-law of Jack & Norma Corbett, and Ray & Lex Poulgrain (all deceased). Loved brother and brother-in-law of John (dec) & Pam Corbett, Grant & Sue Corbett, and Anne Day. A loved uncle and great-uncle. Sincere thanks to the staff at Wellington Hospital ward 5 South, Charles Fleming SCU and Kapiti Cottage for the love and support shown to Richard. At Richard's request, a private cremation has taken place.

Richard was a much-loved cousin, always larger than life. He loved his sport, tennis, bowls and hockey, and drinking tea - hence his nickname "Char". He will be greatly missed.
