Rick GRAYSON Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 26 October 2025, at Duart Rest Home. A life lived in full colour, sharp mind, quick wit, and a twinkle in his eye to the very end. Beloved husband of Francie (deceased) and partner of Sue. Loved father and father-in-law of Augusta, Rollo & Macarena, Rosa & Hayden. Adored grandad of Nikita, Marlowe, Maddox, Storm, and Otis. A brilliant legal mind and founding partner of Gresson, Grayson & Calver, Rick approached life with intellect, humour, and heart, whether at work, on the sports field, or in Te Awanga with music playing and the ocean in view. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team at Duart Care Centre for their kindness and care. A service to celebrate Rick's life will be held at Clifton County Cricket Club, Gordon Road, Te Awanga on Saturday, 1 November at 2.00pm.

I was so sorry to learn of Rick´s passing. I knew him through work as a fellow lawyer and the odd catch up. He was a really good man with a great sense of humour, healthy cynicism and a great lawyer. He will be sadly missed. Martin Doole.
