EATON, Robert Nelson (Bob):
Of Paraparaumu, formerly of Otaki. On Sunday, 26 June 2016 at Wellington Hospital, aged 83 years. Affectionate husband and long-time friend of Shirley. Loving Dad of Peter (Wellington), Dave & Karen (Auckland), and Steve & Eva (Loughton, Essex, UK). Special grandad of Nick, Ashley and Andrew. Brother of Scotty & the late Leta (Brisbane), and Nancy & the late Fred Thorby (Bulls). Teacher, mentor and inspiration to children over many years. The family invites you to remember Bob in the Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel, 9-11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu on Saturday, 2 July 2016 at 11am, thereafter private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory to the Wellington Free Ambulance, PO Box 601, Wellington 6140 would be appreciated and may be left at the service. My sincere condolences to Mrs Shirley Eaton, Peter, David, Steven, their partners and families. It was always a delight to see Bob, as he was positive and vibrant. We will miss him, but not forget him.
