Formerly of Downstage Theatre - Suddenly at home. A service to celebrate her life will be held at S & M's Cocktail & Lounge Bar, 176 Cuba Street, Wellington, on Wednesday 20 August 2025 at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation.

To Cherie my sister and I first met Cherie when she was teaching tap dancing at the dance centre in Courtney place she was amazing we did shoes at the theatre at the university State Opera house Michael Fowler Batts theatre Town Hall plus we did competition work as well she always new how to put on a show amazing

Cherie...ageless, glamourous Cherie. What a courageous life you lived. I remember you as a dancer tapping on stage in a revue at Wellington Musical Theatre, teaching tap to your troupe of students, at a Devotion party...
I also remember your volunteer work for Samaritans and the NZ Aids Foundation. Your kindness, generosity and humanity made the world a little gentler. You showed up when it mattered.
