It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rowan Mooney, a devoted and beloved brother to Rev. Ambrose, Joane, Philip, Victoria & Karyn and cherished friend to many. A constant source of love, guidance, and support to his godchildren, friends and young people in his life. His kind heart, generous spirit, and infectious enthusiasm touched the lives of everyone around him and he will be deeply missed.

Rest in peace, dear Rowan. You will be forever in our hearts.


Funeral to be held at 11.30am Tuesday, 23 September, at St Anne's Catholic Church, Emmet St, Newtown, Wellington.

Thank you, dear Rowan, for being such a beautiful gift in our lives and especially to our boys. Thank you for all the love you gave them and the wisdom you shared with them over the years.
Thank you too for the many laughs, the deep and meaningful talks we had about God, faith and life, the endless cups of tea, the cheesecakes and apple crumbles, the countless times you offered your help in very practical ways. I knew I could always call you when the kids were young and they just loved being with you.
You've been a huge part of our lives and will remain ever in our hearts dear Rowan. Rest in peace in the loving embrace of your heavenly Father!
