My sincere condolences to all the family. I have great memories of the time I worked weekends at the riding club and also waitressing at the Country Club. Roy was larger than life, a huge loss.

My sincere condolences to all the family. I have fond memories of my time at the riding club in my younger years, and Roy was always very kind to me. What a wonderful life he lived, and what a wonderful man he was.

It has been a privilege to meet and get to know Roy and Marg. My heart sank when the news struck me, the feel of great loss just saddened me deeply My thought goes to the family, especially to Marg - the greatest love of his life. His sincere smile and the intellectual radiance he shared was remarkable. RIP, Roy, I will always remember you.

A huge man in so many ways. A friend, an inspiration, larger than life. The world and our lives are so much the poorer for Roy having gone to greener pastures. How privileged are we to have shared our lives with him. Thoughts are with all the family, our memories of Roy will remain forever.

I will never forget Roy, his cream coloured wrangler jeans and charming smile! Always there to help and encourage the young riders and provide amazing trekking experiences that the riders of today will never have the chance to experience. I am fortunate to have been one of those lucky horse crazy girls. My thoughts and love to Roy´s family as they process their loss. RIP Roy
