Sandra NIMMO Obituary

On February 25, 2026 at Wellington Hospital; aged 83 years. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Allan & Margery, Colin & Shuyan, John & Xandria, and Catherine. Loved Aunty of Fleur, James, Claire, Richard, Sarah, Steven Yu, and Carole, and Great-Aunty of Alexander & Alana. Sadly missed by all her extended family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to the medical teams at Hutt and Wellington Hospitals for their care. A Memorial Service for Sandra will be held in Kingswood, Cnr King and Cairo Street, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 10.30am. A livestream link will be on the website. Dear Allan, Colin and John, it has been around 70 years since we all met back in the Picton, Nelson Square Days with Gwen and Jack. Sorry to read that Sandra has passed away, she did have a most interesting life. My apologies that I cannot attend her Memorial Service, but it may be that some of you may be passing 254 Te Moana Road, Waikanae [04 293 3023] on your travels, and you would be welcome to call in. Farewell to Sandra and Best wishes to you all from 2nd Cousin Malcolm Cubitt.

Sandy was a very strong person and had a very positive effect on my family during our brief and intense period with inline hockey.
We will miss her.
Our thoughts are with her family ,thank you for sharing her with us.
