I remember Mick and Wal with great affection. They were marvellous to deal with in the wool business. One of my late friends Eric Jenkins was a great friend of the Bremners. The world has lost a true gentleman and decent human being. Sail well Mick.

Moe mai e te ranagatira, moe mai i roto i te rangimarie.
Very sad to hear of 'uncle' Mick's passing. He played All Black rugby with, and Provincial rugby against, my father, Bill Gray (deceased 1993). I was very fortunate to meet Mick when I started my law degree at Victoria University Wellington in 1981 and joined the University Rugby Club at the same time. Though a shadow of my father on the rugby field I enjoyed 10 years with the University 'A' Team and Mick was a constant figure around the team at games and of course in the Boyd Wilson clubroom with a beer in hand. He would often corner me in the clubrooms offering valued advice and share stories of his playing days with my Dad. I haven't seen you Mick for a long time living over seas for a number of decades, but your smiling face is as clear as daylight. Haere atu Mick.
