Stephen BRIGGS Obituary
Stephen John (Steve):
Of Steve's Wholefoods Palmerston North. Passed on Sunday 16th August 2020, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Aged 68. Dearly loved husband of Jude, and the late Anna. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Richard and Kelly, Michael and Jenni, Hayley and Matthew, and Simone. Treasured Grandad of Patrick; Isabel, and Olivia; Archie, and Hunter; and Bayley. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Linda Lambess and Ivan Huntley. Uncle of Jeff Hull (Lambess). Due to current restrictions a private service will be held. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Arohanui Hospice. Messages to the Briggs family, c/- PO Box 5191, Palmerston North 4441.

Sad to read Steve had died. I enjoyed his sense of humour and interesting conversations. He always had time for the customers and was never short on words. Have supported Steves for past 30 years and will miss his face at the counter looking rugged as Steve did so well. Thinking of you Jude and family. He will be missed.

Jude and family. I was so sorry to hear that Steve had died. Over the past 30 years or so, I have enjoyed & appreciated his helpful service in the shop, but also his wise, honest & frequently entertaining conversations over the counter.I'm sure you will miss him dreadfully, & I will too. Sorry to hear about Stephen. He was a lovely man who enjoyed talking to his customers and always went out of his way to help. I will miss the conversations that we used to have. Condolences to Jude and the families.

So sorry to hear of Steve's death. He was a lovely guy and managed to make all his shop customers feel special, with a friendly smile and a wee chat no matter how busy he was. He will be sorely missed and never forgotten by many. Our love and thoughts are with you Jude, and the rest of Steve's family, during this tough time.
