"Swim Coach extraordinaire"
Steve died peacefully in the early hours of 5th September 2025 in Arohanui Hospice, after a brave struggle with cancer. Loved swim coach and triathlon coach of many. There will be a memorial service held at the pool side. Grateful thanks to the hospice nursing team, and doctors at Arohanui and to Dr Zoe Wood, Kauri Medical for their kind care of Steve to the end of his days. In lieu of flowers, donations to Arohanui Hospice, Palmerston North Hospital, would be greatly appreciated.
