(MBE, JP retired) W39488, NEWZAD, V5, 1970.

With great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Stewart at Nelson Street Care Home, Feilding. In his 83rd year. He was the beloved husband of Christine. The father of Aaron (deceased), and Kirsten. Father-in-law of Peter. Much loved by his grandchildren Kaitlyn, Siobhan, Jayden, and Brennan. Loved brother of Ann, Gay, and Linda. Uncle of Melita, Felix, Otto, and Genevive. Loved and respected friend to many. Stewart will be at his home in Feilding until his funeral. Messages for the Couchman family, c/- PO Box 5191, Palmerston North 4441. A service for Stewart will be held in Cotton's Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Friday 29th August 2025 at 1.00pm.

Remembering many great years working with Stewart at the Community Centre in Linton and then later enjoying Christine's fresh scones and a good yarn at the deer farm. Such a gentleman. RIP Stewart. Condolences to Christine and family.
