Sui Jung "aka Suie" THOMPSON

Died gently, quietly and peacefully at Wellington Hospital, after a short illness surrounded by the aroha of whānau, on Saturday 28 August 2025. Wife of the late A/R Takuta Hori Thompson, mama to A/W Larry (deceased) and Robyn, Rewi and Kim, Veronica and Robert (deceased), and Monica and Michael and Gina, kuia of Kelli and John Paul, Tamra and Demetrius, Joshua and Jade, Samaria and Andre, Jason and Julia, Maia and Sjimmy, Zen and Ye Jin, Faith, Chloe and Jade, mokomoko Carmelo, Selah, Cormac, Manuao Ming, Kaea-Li, Maiangi Mei, Kauri and Awa. Daughter of Wong Cho Nam and Sum Man He, beloved sister and sister-in-law of Jung and Ying Louis (both deceased), Jack (Hamilton), Chung and Linda, Kaye, Barbara and Harvey Wu, Barry (deceased), Judy and Donald Choy (both deceased), and Russell (deceased). Aunty to many nieces and nephews on both sides of the whānau all across the world. Service will be held at 11.00am on Thursday 28 August at Walter Nash Stadium, Tocker Street, Taita, followed by burial at Ōwhiti Urupā, 8A Seaview Road, Seaview.
